A sad truth...

Folks, we passed another monumental point in our history. Not the part about re-electing President Obama (besides that) I'm talking about something more devastating.

I am talking about the 51% who apparently slept though any semblance of a history class. The ones who took a HUGE step towards lighting a match and moving it in the direction of the constitution. The fact that they stood together, arm in arm and decided that they were in favor of turning their backs on the founding principals.

What are those you ask?...

Open Government, Free Enterprise, right to self-government (but that hasn't been around since the 1800's), the right to life, the Bill of Rights, the right to keep what you work for and so forth.

Let me ask you this set of questions? Do you like the fact that the stock market closed 313 points lower since the election? Cause I don't.

Do you like the fact that Applebee's, Papa John's and many other companies are going to start slashing jobs like it's 1929?
Not me.

Do you like the fact that the liberal media bashed #43 for his "failed" response to Katrina, while #44 flew in, hugged some people and bolted out to the campaign trail and has not ONCE mentioned the thousands who are left freezing, without food and power. Oh but Chris Matthews is "happy that storm hit"
Sickening.

Folks I am not a republican shill, I am one who believes in what Jefferson once said:

"The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

We must now more than ever question our leaders, our country was built on that idea! If we don't, we will lose any and all rights. At that point, the dream that was the United States will be nothing more than a whisper and a thought..both gone with the slightest bit of resistance. History has shown this time and again.

We have reaped, please don't complain when you see what will be sown from it.

Long live free thought..
